Defiantly do not undo all the ties when hanging them up, until you have the main spine of the cable secure! Because untangling them if you do what I did when I hung my first set (undone all ties then hung), was a nightmare! Look really good once up. Do measure your windows though. They fit perfectly in my living room but all the other rooms they are way too long, but I just pulled each strand up and hooked round my fittings. All good! Would recommend for that elegant look.
