I didn’t realise they were Velcro fastenings. I have had this type of sandal with Velcro fastenings and had a nasty fall as the Velcro worked loose and I tripped on the straps. But they looked a sturdy sandal. Would prefer buckles to fasten them.

These sandals are so, so comfortable. The velcro straps ensure a perfect fit for my wide feet.I suffer from peripheral neuropathy and foot drop, which makes walking difficult, but these sandals make walking easier, and they help me lift my feet as I walk. They look quite nice too!If you have wide feet, and are looking for comfort, I'd highly recommend a pair of Hotter Walk II Touch-Fastening X Wide Sandals.
