My grandson does not have a slim bottom and slim fit jeans are usually uncomfortable for him. He loves these and was very happy to wear them all day. they look good too.

I realise that they are loose fit, but unless you have a large bum both on the back *and* front of your body, these are not a great fit for anyone human shaped.
