I have put them on my back garden fence around a patio area. They were still alight when I got up this morning at 6am. They don't light up the area brightly - which was what I wanted. I also have the dandelion stick lights that I bought last year and they have come on every night since I bought them throughout the year winter included

They are pretty lights, but I thought they would have been a bit longer for the price.

So far working well and time will tell if that continues, in the past I have found such items purchased elsewhere stop working
