Kurtas from Asian shops are rarely available in cotton; they're often made of polyester. This ultimately means that sweating within a regular kurta will inevitably occur. The kurta from Next is made of a cotton that would be used to made a mid weight shirt - i find it to be very breathable and wore it all day. The issue that some blokes will have is with the creasing, but in the photos of the day (Eid) the kurta still looks rather smart, worn with a pair of chinos. The problem younger men may have is with the lack of embellishment - there is no decoration on this item but this was not a negative for me at all. Having worn different styles of kurta with sequins etc the garment can get awfully scratchy.Buy this item with confidence - you won't be disappointed. I'll be buying it in the other colours!
