This smells/tastes pleasant (basically honey) and gives you an instant hit of moisturiser. Unlike some of the cheap lip balms you can buy - this doesn't then **** the moistsure out of your lips so you are constantly re-applying. That having been said, I am not sure it has made a massive difference to the underlying health of my lips but it may be too soon to say.
