The Evandale is based on a modern cast-iron design and is freestanding to ensure minimal installation and manoeuvrability within any space. With fully variable flame and smoke intensity controls, the stove utilises patented Optimyst technology for the world’s most realistic electric flame effect.

With a 2kw fan heater, the Dimplex Optimyst range is state-of-the-art, using established ultrasonic technology to create an ultra-fine water mist that rises up and works with the under-fuel bed lighting to give a fully three-dimensional fire effect. The result is so authentic that it is regularly mistaken for true flames and smoke. The flames are created by filling a water tank beneath the fuel bed and it is completely safe. The water tank for the smoke effect needs re-filling every 8 - 10 hours of use.

This fire can operate via remote control and can even be used independently of the fully concealed 2kW heater, meaning you can enjoy the classic feel of the fire all year round.
With two heat settings and thermostatic controls which mean you can set your fire to produce heat when the room drops to a certain temperature, helping to maintain comfort in your home. The cast iron style is a traditional classic, fitting in with any interior.
