The mats looked really effective, the fringed edge added an extra dimension. I teamed with natural linen napkins tied with string and a sprig of rosemary.

These mats look great and are large enough for a plate, glass and side plate if you want to protect a good table. However, I had to wash one after a spillage, which I did according to the label. It has shrunk slightly, and now 2 large crease marks with a fade in the colour along them. I cannot get them out even with a hot iron and wetting the mat. I am very disappointed and am unhappy to use this mat again.

I love these placemats they are very classy like something you would find in the White Company or Neptune. They are larger than my old mats so do measure first. But a fab purchase and yes I would recommend
