Feeling cosy: Around the home styles

Kick back in comfy loungewear for women

With hibernation season in full swing, there's nothing more appealing than investing in some great loungewear for women. From leggings that work as well for your workout as they do for movie marathons, to comfy sets, create a cosy stay-at-home wardrobe by investing in:

Lounge sets:
Designed in super-soft cotton styles, our lounge sets are just the ticket for days when comfort is calling your name. Hooded styles are great on extra chilly nights and work wonders paired over soft tops, joggers and leggings. Or why not find the perfect all-in-one and get in your comfort-zone with a onsie or oodie?

Luxury pyjama sets:
It's 7pm on a Friday evening. No, you're not going out; it's a night on the sofa in a pair of statement pyjamas. Opt for satin styles in decadent prints; think Victoria's Secret and Lipsy as your go-to pyjama brands.

Sofa surfing trousers:
Loyal to leggings or a tracksuit lover? Either way we can all agree that comfy bottoms without the zips, buttons and buckles are the way forward. Discover tracksuit bottoms that hold their shape and wear them on the days you feel like 'dressing up'. If you're looking for leggings to last all eventualities, opt for a sports pair that combine  style with support.

Stay-at-home sweats:
If you enjoy layering then you can't go wrong with a simple sweat. A classic cashmere polo and knitted cardigan works well for more socialable moments, for example coffee mornings. Whilst oversized sweatshirts are perfect if you find yourself doing an at-home workout or spot of cleaning.

Toasty loungewear essentials for men

Softer and more stylish than ever, men's loungewear is becoming more popular. The lasting legacy of lockdown has meant that pyjamas, tracksuit bottoms and sweatshirts have outshone suits and ties in recent years. So as men's fashion steps up it's loungewear game, make way for a more relaxed dress code by investing in:

Tracksuit co-ords:
A go-to for relaxed days spent on the sofa and casual outings, make the most of the athleisure trend in our soft cotton tracksuits in neutral tones such as grey and stone.

Cosy fleece:
Zip through fleece jumpers also work really well. Not only are they on-trend they also trap in warmth; keeping you extra cosy on those frosty morning missions defrosting the car!

Signature sweats:
Enjoy some well-earned downtime in our range of hoodies, jumpers and more; perfect when it comes to those Friday takeaway night's. Opt for bright, oversized styles for maximum comfort.

Stylish pyjama sets:
For total bedtime comfort, discover pyjama sets and singles, designed with more insulating materials such as fleece and cotton.

Thermals:
Keep the cold out and discover our men's thermal range; designed to lock in heat, so you stay warm. Choose from long-sleeved tops and bottoms in colours such as black and white, that suit every temperature.

Opt for an added cosy extra

Elevate your duvet days with a dressing gown. Anyone serious about their relaxation time should have one in their wardrobe. Not yet discovered the perfect cocooning essential? We're here with some fluffy inspiration.

An around-the-house essential, choose from fleece, towelling and hooded styles in neutral shades such as navy, white, black and grey. If you fancy something a little more sophisticated for breakfasting in style, opt for a kimono robe. Perfect for both men and women, the dressing gown of your dreams is only a click away.

Slippers for all occasions

For those glamorous tasks such as taking the bins out and fetching your post, you can't go wrong with a pair of slippers. An essential addition to your loungewear, not only do they keep your feet toasty but they also make you feel put together on those days where your shoes just won't cut it. Choose from a pair of mule or moccasin slippers; worn by both men and women, they're structured soles make for long-lasting comfort, whilst the soft faux-fur lining keeps feet feeling snug.

Feeling cosy: Daytime style ideas

Winterise your summer wardrobe

Extend the shelf life of your summer pieces all the way through to winter so you don't have to do a complete 180. With sustainability fast becoming a hot topic in the world of fashion, the most responsible way to create a cosy look is using the clothes you already own. Making your wardrobe 'seasonless' is also a good idea and simple techniques such as layering can turn your once summer clothes into a winter appropriate masterpiece. So where to start?

Women:

• Rethink your summer dress collection. You might think that you can't wear a floral dress in the winter, however paired with a chunky knit cardigan or jumper and some high knee boots, this look will take you effortlessly into a new season.

• Embrace a gilet. Practical looking and most certainly cosy when the weather turns sub-zero, layer over leather jackets and light blazers for a winter-worthy look. Whether you opt for navy, camel or black styles, the gilet can be a great alternative to a thick winter coat.

• There's nothing cosier than a rollneck. Wear under shirts, V-neck or sleeveless dresses when the colder weather sets in.

Men:

T-shirts can be worn when it gets cooler, think of them as a base layer. They can also give an otherwise plain looking outfit a burst of colour, for example a white breton tee under a navy coloured coat.

• Summer’s smart-casual polo shirts still look smart even in the winter. Lightweight and breathable, the polo shirt is a top player in your transitional line-up. Wear under jackets then switch to a longer-sleeved version for a late-autumn look.

• A denim jacket isn’t just a mid-layer or an outer layer, it's a fashion hero. For a cosy, winter outfit, wear over a hoodie or roll neck, or under a blazer or overcoat.

Gilets also work just as well in the male wardrobe as they do in the women's. Practical and weather-appropriate, layer a gilet over long-sleeved tops and shirts. A great alternative to a thick winter coat, opt for navy, camel or black styles.

Opt for bright styles

Winter doesn't mean you have to stick to black, grey and navy hues, opt for muted styles in shades of white, beige and oatmeal; this tonal look works perfectly in most wardrobes. If you really don't want to ditch the dark hues, elevate all-black ensembles by introducing bright colours and prints into your wardrobe rotation.

Play with layers

Ease into winter dressing by layering jackets, blazers and lightweight coats with pieces from your everyday wardrobe such as jeans, shirts and tops. Not only is this a practical outfit idea during winter when you want to stay cosy on those trips into work and night's out, but it’s also a clever way to get more wear out of the outerwear that you may have put aside at the end of summer.
